What's the story?

Welcome to this immersive unsolved case file game!

Sophia Dubois was murdered on June 2, 1959, hit over the head with a rock while walking next to the lake at Château de Lysanges, France. The killer remains unknown, with many people trying and failing to solve the case over the years that have passed.

Now, a Private Detective has got in contact with you asking you to help him to solve the case. He has sent you his case file, filled with all of the evidence he has managed to uncover. You’ll find statements, maps, a crime scene video available online, newspaper clippings and more. Your task is simple: go through the evidence, eliminate the who couldn’t have done it and find out who could, in order to discover the killer.

You’ll need to read through all of the evidence, cross-check statements and identify motives. Then, try to find an alibi for each of the suspects. Who is lying? Who cannot be telling the truth?

Difficulty level: intermediate, designed for players who are looking for a fun and challenging game.

Recommended age: 14+ and adults

Number of players: 1 to 10 (if you have more people, you could split into teams to see who can solve the mystery the quickest!)

-A color printer

-An internet connection and a computer/smartphone to view the crime scene video (although if you do not have this do not worry, as this one piece of evidence is not essential to solving the crime)
